A Study of the Reformation
October 31, 1517 is a day that changed history, literally. Although a young monk, Martin Luther, had a desire to have a conversation about some concerns he had with his beloved church, he had no intentions of setting off a wave of controversy that would affect not only his beloved church but also the understanding of the connection of Church and State, the financial systems of the day, the language of the German people, the public education of children and more.
If you have ever wondered about the Reformation, now is the time to come and learn more. Do you know who was Knight George? What did Jan Hus have to do with the Reformation? What was Martin Luther thinking?
Come join us for a study of the characters and events of the Reformation. We meet on Thursday Evenings at 7 pm at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 21434 East Hardy Rd. Childcare is available if needed. Please state your need and how many children when signing up.
