It has pleased our Father in heaven to call to himself Cindy Sue Ristow Sentesi on May 26, 2021 at the age of 60 years and 2 months.
Cindy was born on March 26, 1961 in Jamestown, North Dakota where she was given the blessings of Holy Baptism. She re-affirmed her faith in the Lord as her Savior through the rite of Confirmation at St John Lutheran Church in Stewartville, Minnesota on May 18, 1975. She moved to Spring, Texas in 1982 when her father was called to serve as Senior Pastor at St Matthew Lutheran Church of Westfield, Texas. She married Lester Allen Sentesi on February 18, 1984. They were blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, Sandy and Rachael. Cindy was very active in the church serving in several different capacities including Sunday School teacher, Sunday School treasurer, youth counselor and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her father Rev. Leonard Ristow and her father-in-law Alex Sentesi. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Lester Sentesi, daughter Sandy Pedersen and her husband Aaron and Rachael McCarthey and her husband Jeffery and her mother-in-law, Lorna Sentesi. Her mother Beverly Ristow, brother Dan Ristow and wife Linda sister Pam Quantz and husband Mike, brother Tim Ristow and wife Tracy, grandchildren Daniel Pedersen and Emma and Abel McCarthey, nieces and nephews Amber Woods and husband Billy, Isaac Ristow and wife Carolyn, Alex Quantz and wife Kirstin, Olivia Quantz, Ben and Matthew Ristow, Marcus and Justin Fisher, Lexi and Iona Cosart and a host of friend and other relatives who loved her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Westfield, 21434 E. Hardy Rd., Houston, TX 77073.
Her remains will be laid to rest in St Matthew Cemetery to await the resurrection.
